In an unofficial preliminary result from constituency GBA-22 (Ghanche-I), Pakistan Muslim League-N candidate Muhammad Ibrahim Sanai has won the seat after results from all 58 polling stations were counted. Sanai secured 9,308 votes to claim victory, defeating Pakistan Peoples Party’s Ashiq Hussain, who finished second with 8,052 votes — a margin of 1,256 votes. The result marks PML-N’s first seat in the Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly Elections 2026. With four results now declared or emerging, PPP leads with two seats, while PML-N and an independent candidate have claimed one seat each. Counting continues across the remaining constituencies.
