In an unofficial preliminary result from constituency GBA-2 (Gilgit-II), Pakistan Muslim League-N’s Hafiz Hafizur Rehman has won the seat with 11,204 votes, defeating Pakistan Peoples Party’s Jamil Ahmed, who finished second with 7,376 votes — a decisive margin of 3,828 votes. The result gives PML-N its second seat in the Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly Elections 2026. With thirteen results now declared or emerging, PPP leads with seven seats, followed by three seats for independent candidates and two seats for PML-N, with MWM holding one seat. Counting continues across the remaining constituencies.
