In an unofficial preliminary result from constituency GBA-11 (Kharmang), Pakistan Peoples Party’s Iqbal Hassan has won the seat after results from all 51 polling stations were tallied. Hassan secured 5,944 votes to claim victory, defeating Pakistan Muslim League-N’s Syed Mohsin Rizvi, who finished second with 4,589 votes — a margin of 1,355 votes. The result gives PPP its seventh seat in the Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly Elections 2026. With twelve results now declared or emerging, PPP dominates with seven seats, followed by three seats for independent candidates, and one seat each for MWM and PML-N. Counting continues across the remaining constituencies.
