The Gilgit-Baltistan Election Commission has directed Returning Officers of all 24 constituencies to immediately issue certified Form 45s to candidates and their representatives. Chief Election Commissioner GB stated that the process must be carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Elections Act 2017 and Election Rules 2017. The Election Commission confirmed that Form 45s are being issued at all polling stations where counting has been completed. All Returning Officers have been instructed to ensure full compliance with the directives. The Commission also cautioned media channels against airing unverified reports regarding the non-issuance of Form 45s.
