Shigar: Pakistan Peoples Party’s Imran Nadim has secured victory in the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly constituency GBA-12, Shigar, according to official results. Contesting against nine other candidates, Nadim polled 13,222 votes to claim the seat convincingly.
IPP’s Raja Muhammad Azam Khan finished second with 8,977 votes, while PML-N’s Muhammad Tahir Unhar Shigri came third with 6,298 votes.
The constituency has a total of 46,594 registered voters. The result further consolidates PPP’s growing presence in Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly Elections 2026, with Nadim’s margin of over 4,200 votes reflecting strong public support for the party in GBA-12.
