In an unofficial preliminary result from constituency GBA-3 (Gilgit-III), independent candidate Syed Sohail Abbas has won the seat after results from all 82 polling stations were tallied. Abbas secured 7,877 votes to claim victory, defeating Pakistan Peoples Party’s Aftab Haider, who finished second with 7,360 votes — a margin of 517 votes. With seven results now declared or emerging, PPP continues to lead with three seats, followed by two seats for independent candidates, and one seat each for MWM and PML-N. Counting continues across the remaining constituencies as more results are expected shortly.
