Caretaker CM Vows Free and Fair GB Elections

Caretaker Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, Retired Justice Yar Muhammad Rind, on Sunday addressed the media, reaffirming his government’s commitment to conducting free, fair, and transparent elections. He expressed hope that candidates with genuine public support would emerge victorious. The caretaker chief minister stated that every possible measure was being taken to ensure no complaints of electoral rigging arose. He urged political contestants and their supporters to exercise patience and tolerance, noting that winning and losing are natural parts of the democratic process. The caretaker government, he added, remains fully committed to upholding the integrity of the electoral exercise.
